BOIDR+ donors raise 4,000 euros for kindergartners at P. Oosterle school
We at Bij Ons In De Residentie (BOIDR) are super happy with the 4,000 euros raised, which will enable us to support the pre-school children at P. Oosterle school with their reading skills.

BOIDR+ donors raise 4,000 euros for kindergartners at P. Oosterle school
We at Bij Ons In De Residentie (BOIDR) are super happy with the 4,000 euros raised, which will enable us to support the pre-school children at P. Oosterle school with their reading skills.
Bij Ons In De Residentie (BOIDR) was privileged on Thursday to hand over a cheque for €4,000 to director Mariska Wubben and a number of pre-schoolers from P. Oosterleeschool, a primary school in Moerwijk with children from all over the world and from different cultures.

The cheque of 4,000 euros will be used to buy bilingual books and Reading Pens. Pictured are director Mariska Wubben (left), editor-in-chief Annerieke Simeone and the preschoolers.
The pupil population is characterised by significant developmental delays in vocabulary, language and motor skills. With the money from generous donors, present at one of our four networking dinners BOIDR+, we would like to help preschoolers improve their language skills through concrete tools:
- The Reader: a 'talking' pen that reads each highlighted word or associated picture aloud. Cost per pen: €49.50.
- Bilingual children's books. Costs vary between €8 and €30
Also in 2023/24, P. Oosterlele School will be the charity of BOIDR.
The Read Aloud promotes preschoolers' language skills.
