Five favourites Tlalit Packer, chocolatier and owner of ADEA Chocolate
Tlalit Packer, chocolatier and owner of ADEA Chocolate, shares her five favourite spots in The Hague with us!
1. Favourite viewpoint
The Vulkaan (I call it Everest!)
When taking a hike in the beautiful dunes by the beach, wanting to increase my heart rate and telling myself there are mountain peaks here, I run up The Hague’s Everest! I can’t think of a better place to catch my breath and admire the sea.
📍West Dune Park
2. Favourite photographer
Estelle Pichon
Even if you’re not the type who likes to be photographed and even if you’re not sure what the focus of the picture should be, with her kind professional manner, she will know what to do no matter whether in her studio or out in nature. Her pictures always take my breath away.

3. Favourite restaurant
Portfolio
There are so many reasons why. In a nutshell: I love the fancy, exquisite food served with elegant yet down to earth service. I love the idea of those two guys running an amazing show with delicious flavours in a cosy atmosphere. Favourite dish: when you think you can’t eat another bite, they bring on the freshly made madeleines with their cream sauce. Out of this world.
📍Prinsestraat 36

4. Favourite frame maker
Lijstenmakerij Akkolades
The lady is such an artist that you are better off laying your picture on the table, and she’ll tell you what will work best. Then she’ll try a few options, finetune her suggestion and bring her idea to life in the most incredible way.
📍Waldeck Pyrmontkade 881

5. Favourite playground
Het Apenbos
At any time of the year, no matter how grey or windy it may be, being there always makes me feel better. I love the forest and the varied play areas. Good for toddlers and yes – even my teenager enjoys playing there with his little brother sometimes.
📍At the edge of the Groves of Poot
