Handmade shirts as well as high heels from Italy, they can be seen and ordered on Monday during a pampering event at Wassenaar's Frisiastate estate.
Un evento Italiano, that sounds like music to your ears. The small-scale event was conceived by Wassenaar entrepreneur Erik van der Burg. He will receive his guests on Monday 3 May at his coach house on Frisiastate estate together with etiquette queen Anne-Marie van Leggelo.
Feraggio
There, they will be pampered with caviar, bubbles and bites. The reason? Van der Burg is co-owner of Velloro, the online fashion brand from Naples, she is ambassador of luxury shoe brand Feraggio. And they like to highlight that, but in a stylish way.
'I first thought of a pop-up store, but this makes it more personal'
Van der Burg: "I first thought of a pop-up store, but this makes it more personal. You come and visit me. Many people crave an outing. And the nice thing is: you can bring your partner. It's all very relaxed and accessible. And coronaproof, because there is plenty of space. I hope we can sit on my terrace. Possibly I'll fire up the fireplace a bit more if necessary. "
Velloro
Velloro's shirts have been on sale online since last April. "Yes, nice period to start so during an epidemic," responds Van der Burg, who calls himself "not a fashion man". "But I do love beautiful clothes and Naples just stole my heart." He hopes other men will get as enthusiastic about the handmade Neapolitan shirts. "If you visit me, you can see everything: the fabric collection, the collars. Together we can put together a shirt for you."
'I shouldn't think about it. But when I see a woman walking on it... Beautiful to see'
And the ladies can try the Rolls-Royce under the high heels with Van Leggelo, who has offices in Castle de Wittenburg. Van der Burg: "There is an extremely innovative footbed in Feraggio's shoes, which makes them run super comfortable. I wouldn't have to think about it. But when I see a woman walking on them... Wonderful to see."
Waiting list for Velloro and Feraggio
Meanwhile, eight couples have already registered for the event. "We already have a waiting list. The fact that it is on an estate may make it extra fun. And since it is already a success, we want to carry this through on a frequent basis."
