7 x drinking cocktails in The Hague
The Hague is home to countless cafés and restaurants, but where do you drink the best cocktails? We picked seven fancy hotspots for you that make surprising flavour combinations. These are our recommendations:
#1 Office 1643
A new Hague hotspot with international influences. The historic building on Prinsegracht has been converted into an ambitious and hip restaurant and bar with natural wines, a bistro kitchen and club nights. The menu has French and Japanese influences and no fewer than 20 (!) signature cocktails from an award-winning bartender. As a tribute to the former Club Seven, the Ukrainian owners created a cocktail specially named after this iconic spot. A real must-visit, if you ask us.

#2 The Five Points Bar
A cocktail bar with international allure and living room feel, inspired by New York neighbourhood AND gangsters Five Points and influenced by the various cocktail bars where owner Michael operated in London. Here you'll find classic, high-end cocktails with a little twist of their own. Freshly prepared by bartenders who have mastered the tricks of the trade flawlessly.

#3 Gold Bar The Hague
Step inside the former vault of a historic bank built in 1884 for an evening of cocktails and gourmet bites. At Gold Bar, you will imagine yourself in the roaring twenties. An exciting mix of mystery and history with a sense of mystery, gold and 'illegal' booze. This speakeasy bar is located in Hotel Indigo on Noordeinde.

#4 Milú
At Milú, you can enjoy delicious food and drinks. But did you know that this hotspot in The Hague is also known for its extensive cocktail and G&T menu? Every Wednesday you enter 'cocktailwalhalla' here and drink all the cocktails from a selected but extensive menu for only € 6. Conviviality guaranteed. Our editor-in-chief Annerieke's favourite? The mango spize martini.

#5 Blue Blood
Hilton The Hague's new BlueBlood The Hague has a restaurant and a large cocktail island is. This is how we like to see them. Here, the bartenders are constantly creating a unique cocktail menu by experimenting and innovating. Let yourself be surprised.

#6 Ultramarine
At Ultramarine in the voco The Hague you will find an extensive menu of cocktails with influences from travels around the world. The cocktail menu is therefore divided into the four cardinal directions north, east, south and west. Chefs make extensive use of fermentation and pickling, and pulp, peels, seeds, pits and other products that are often discarded are also incorporated into the bites and cocktails.

#7 Tapisco
Tapisco is a combination of the Spanish 'tapas' and the Portuguese 'petiscos' or small bites. But this historic building on Kneuterdijk is also a great place for cocktails. On the menu, for example, 'Buttery nipple': butterscotch, Baileys and vanilla ice cream. Or 'Mezcalita margarita' including vida mezcal/corralejo tequila, cointreau and lime juice.
