3x new hotels in the city: Seaview, De Plesman and Townhouse The Hague

Sleep like a rose, breakfast like a king and relax like never before. Three new places to stay in The Hague open early this year.

Seaview

Live, work and stay. It all comes together in Seaview, which opens its doors on Friday 28 February as an aparthotel at 61 Gevers Deynootweg. The 66 studios can be arranged in such a way that they can easily be transformed from a one- or two-bedroom flat to a hotel room. And for some fresh air, you don't have to walk far: within 10 minutes you're on the beach at Scheveningen.

On the left you can see the former Seaview Office, on the right the redeveloped Seaview.

RE:BORN, which is giving Scheveningen Pier and Spaansche Hof a new look, redeveloped Seaview. The outdated office building was given a contemporary and sustainable use. With modern architecture and the return of the turret - a reference to the former Hotel van Abeelen that stood on this site in the early 20th century - RE:BORN stays true to the history of the place.

During the opening, if you are there, you will receive a LEGO building kit with which you can recreate the Seaview building in detail - builders ready, build away!

De Plesman

KLM founder Albert Plesman would be only too proud. His old head office has been beautifully converted into De Plesman. From Saturday 1 March, the hotel at 607 Plesmanweg will welcome its first guests.

Plesman The Hague

The old KLM headquarters is now De Plesman.

De Plesman has 100 hotel rooms with high ceilings and unobstructed views over the city. There are also 30 studios and suites, all with private kitchens. A special room is the Signature Plesman Suite, decorated in Albert Plesman's old office. For business meetings or special events, there are several rooms, including one with its own kitchen and a small cinema. You can also choose to use the gym and have a drink in the Albert Bar & Lounge afterwards.

Hotel De Plesman

Deluxe room in The Plesman.

Connected to the building, you'll find Restaurant Suus under the pavilion's copper roof. The menu has a French base with international influences. The mezzanine is for groups of 70, and the terrace has room for 100 guests. The restaurant is named after Suus Plesman, wife of Albert Plesman. No time to dine long? The Deli Suusje makes it easy to pop in for freshly baked bread and delicacies.

An art collection by renowned artists such as Casper Faassen, Soo Burnell, Levi Jacobs and Jeroen Hofman, in collaboration with Galerie Den Haag, is on display in the hotel's corridors, as well as in the rooms and restaurants.

Townhouse The Hague

At Townhouse The Hague, part of LBG Hotels, is all about lodging, not staying overnight. The 'Haagse huis', which opens its doors on Friday 21 February at Bleijenburg, is designed to make guests feel truly at home in the city. There are 88 rooms, for two to four people. So perfect for a city trip, a weekend away or a business stay. From the hotel you can easily walk to the Binnenhof, the city centre or the Ministry of Finance.

Townhouse The Hague

No classic lobby, but a cosy all-day & night café: Jolie Café Manger, open to all from 07:00.

When you step into Townhouse The Hague, you see it immediately: not a classic lobby, but a cosy all-day & night café called Jolie Café Manger. With French and Dutch dishes like quiches, pasties and sandwiches. And if you're looking for company, you can even bring Blub, the house fish, to your room. What you can also expect at this hotel: Limburg flans. Flans? Yes, really. Because LBG Hotels is a hotel group originally from Limburg. And the first Townhouse was opened in Maastricht.
